The focus of the Congress will be mostly on economic opportunities for Slovenian and German companies on both markets, market research and building new economic opportunities. You will have an opportunity to hear examples of good practices and experiences of Slovenia-based German companies, what they are interested in, where their key interests lay, what are the cooperation opportunities in the automotive industry and how science, technology, economy and sport create successful and comprehensive stories. German investors will be given an opportunity to familiarize themselves better with the Slovenian business and investment environment.
The following activities for the attendees will be organised:
● The Business and Investment Congress "Invest & Connect Slovenian Business Pitch: Germany Experiences Slovenia" that will take place on June 19th 2024 at the BMW-Welt Doppelkegel Congress Hall next to the Olympic Park,
● Networking opportunities at business events, which will be held alongside the European Football Championship and,
● A guided tour of the Münich Technical Museum.
The Business and Investment Congress will be attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Robert Golob. The Congress will be opened with opening remarks by:
● Radenko Miljatovič, President of Football Federation of Slovenia,
● Hubert Aiwagner, Bavarian minister of economic affairs, regional development and energy, Deputy Minister President of Bavaria,
● Matjaž Han, Minister of economic affairs, tourism and sport of Republic of Slovenia and
● Dr Robert Golob, Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia.
Attendees of the delegation will be given an optional opportunity to see the European football championship match between Slovenia and Serbia in person. The match is scheduled to take place on June 20th 2024 in Allianz Arena. By taking part in the business delegation, interested individuals will have the opportunity to buy a ticket for the football match via a special link. Due to the limited number of tickets available, only one ticket per company will be available for purchase. You will be informed of the ticket price and the purchase procedure at a later date.
The number of the spots in the delegation is limited to two participants per company. In the final confirmation of participation, priority will be given to companies from the areas/sectors indicated:

● Energy,
● Tourism,
● Green technologies.
An online introduction brochure will be prepared for all the participant after the applications close. Its purpose is to make a comprehensive introduction and promotion for the participating Slovenia-based companies at the Congress and other events on the delegation’s agenda.

There is no registration fee to join the delegation. Participants cover the costs of transportation, hotel accommodation and a ticket to attend the game (if they decide to do so). The total cost with tourist bus on relation Ljubljana - Münich - Ljubljana, all of the local transportations according to the programme, road and parking fees, 2 nights at hotel Rilano 4* (https://www.rilano.com/hotels/rilano-hotel-muenchen/) in a single room with breakfast included, attache, organisation and execution of the trip is 650 EUR/person.
The price of the above stated travel package without the cost of transportation Ljubljana - Münich - Ljubljana is 610 EUR. In case of a participant taking the travel insurance in case of an illness (cancellation risk), the price of the package increases by 4.5%.
