At the working meeting of representatives of the Union of Slovenes in Hungary and the Slovenian Economic Association in Klagenfurt, the president of the Association of Slovenes in Hungary Andrea Kovacs, together with her colleagues Biserka Bajzek and Lila Fasching, the pedagogical consultant in Porabje, Valentina Novak, and the vice president of the Slovenian Economic Association (SGZ), Felix Wieser, took part.

The main topics of the meeting were, among other things, the possibilities of even closer cooperation of the Slovenian organisations of the Alps-Adriatic region in various fields and the potential of Foreign Economic Coordination. Special attention was also paid to the visit of representatives of the Union of Slovenes in Hungary to Carinthia, which will take place on May 27, 2024.

The discussion at the meeting was constructive, with the participants agreeing that closer cooperation between Slovenian organizations in the Alps-Adriatic region is crucial for maintaining and strengthening cultural, economic and political ties. In addition, the visit to Carinthia was identified as an opportunity for further rapprochement between Slovenian communities in different countries.
