At today's meeting of the Commission for Slovenes Abroad and the World, which took place in the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, Slovenes and descendants of Slovenes who live and actively do business abroad also had the floor.

The commission is headed by parliament member Suzana Lep Ṣ̌imenko, and the Minister of Economy, Tourism and Sports, Matjaž Han, and State Secretary, Vesna Humar, attended.

Co-founders of SGBN, ambassador Aljaž Gosnar and dr. Štefan Bogdan Barenboim Šalej, presented the present work, as well as planned SGBN's activities in the future, where the emphasis was placed on cooperation with the Slovenian economy. Dr. Šalej's speech is available here.
As already mentioned, representatives of Slovenian business organisations from the USA, Canada, Italy, Hungary, Austria, Argentina, Croatia, among others, were also present.

Both Minister Han and State Secretary Humar emphasised the necessity of improving cooperation between Slovenian businesspeople in Slovenia and around the world.
