On April 2, Roman Roblek, M.Sc. took up the position of Secretary General of the Slovenian Economic Association (SGZ).
Roblek is a lawyer and has previously worked as a clerk at the Slovenian Information Center in Klagenfurt, Austria. Before that, he was employed at the Federalist Union of European Nationalities (FUEN) in Berlin, Germany, where he was the long-term coordinator of the European citizens' initiative Minority SafePack.
"This position represents a new challenge and a new period in my life and enables me to acquire knowledge in the field of business and management of cross-border projects, as well as establish new contacts outside of minority structures," emphasises Roblek, who looks forward to working with the young team and the SGZ committees in the implementation projects and goals of the organisation.
Roblek sees even more active involvement of members in the work of the SGZ, especially in the Foreign Economic Coordination project, as a personal goal.
SGBN thanks the previous General Secretary Vesna Hodnik Nikolić for all the great work we managed to accomplish together and also looks forward to working with Roman Roblek and wish him a lot of success and all the best at his new position.
