The signing ceremony was attended by the Slovenian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Tanja Fajon, and her Brazilian counterpart, Mauro Vieira.

As reported by EX-YU Aviation, in a statement, the Slovenian government emphasised that “the two ministers signed the aerial transport agreement to improve air connectivity and support the eventual creation of regular air services between the two countries once the conditions are met”.
This agreement is significant for the potential increase in connectivity between Slovenia and Brazil as well as for the strengthening of trade and cultural relations between the two nations. Brazil represents more than half of Slovenia’s trade with Latin America, highlighting the strategic importance of this partnership.
