The SDBP's event "B.D.F. PILOT PROJECT – BUILDING BLOCKS" was a tremendous success, thanks to active participation and engagement. We witnessed a convergence of diverse perspectives, fostering meaningful conversations on the future of Slovenian food systems and the vital role each participant plays in shaping this narrative. Dutch horticulture specialist, Mr. Leo Swart, collaborated with Slovenian food systems expert Prof. Aleš Kuhar to present an in-depth analysis of Slovenia's market potential and explore international cooperation opportunities, particularly with the Netherlands.

The round table discussions were spicy yet exceedingly fruitful. In 30 minutes we understood key challenges as well as key solutions.

The hybrid format allowed for seamless interaction, ensuring a dynamic exchange of ideas both in-person and virtually.
