At the end of June, the Slovenian national anthem is played a little louder and more often, the subdued sound of Slovenian songs is heard and Slovenian flags are fluttering around the world every year. Slovenians from near and far are preparing events with pride and great responsibility to celebrate the statehood day of Slovenia, their motherland and heartland. This year, the Office for Slovenians Abroad, in cooperation with the compatriots, prepared a musical greeting to Slovenia on the occasion of the National Day, thus combining and preserving part of this sincere and heartfelt celebration for eternity.
