Steklarna Hrastnik was chosen by the expert committee as the best among the other finalists: Adria Dom, Cetis, Intersocks and Robeta. On behalf of Steklarna Hrastnik, the award was accepted by Peter Čas, general manager of the Vaider group, which Steklarna Hrastnik is a part of. The award was handed to him by Tanja Turk, member of the board of the Slovenian UniCredit Bank, Matjaž Lukač, director of Fotona, last year's exporter of the year, and Rok Capl, acting director of SPIRIT Slovenia, partner of the Exporter of the Year Award.
