The SGBN's co-founder had the first meeting with the leaders of the recently founded American Slovenian Club, located in Washington, DC in the USA, and it was rated as extremely successful by all participants. Firstly, the activities and the network of the SGBN were presented and later the cooperation possibilities around the world were discussed.

The meeting was attended by Consul General in Cleveland Alenka Jerak, Saša Mrak (President of ASC), Tina Slabe (ASC Board Member), Dr Ursha Prepeluh (ASC Board Member), and Dr Štefan Bogdan Barenboim Šalej (SGBN).
